During my stayed in Denmark one of the remarkable placed I discover is the “Råbjerg Mile” it’s a small desert located at northern part of Jutland, between Frederikshavn and Skagen Denmark . Early in the morning we decided to visit this place, it’s a very peaceful and lovely, where, when standing on the sand dunes, you have sight to the ocean on either side. Ideally I would recommend this place and take your time exploring the dunes.
The migrating dune fooled you to believe that you are in the middle of the desert. So impressive scenery and the view is natural that you are in a real desert. Råbjerg Mile is the biggest dunes in Europe with the height of 40 meters or 130 ft, the dune contains of 4 million m³ of sand.
The seen from above is the crescent shape, with two “horns” turned up against the prevailing southwest wind. Imagining I am in the middle of the desert without plant, water and no one’s people around me. Discovering place like this is unique and simple amazing, if you plan to visit Råbjerg Mile one day bring the best camera, don’t miss the chance to take photo.
Travelling is not just a pleasure it’s also allows you to discover the stories behind those places.
You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.
