Recently we are looking for a place to stay we suddenly discover a White House just near Badladz Beach Resort. Two days before check out on the Hotel life style I asked the reception girl if we can walk in to this White House and ask if they have a vacant room that we can rented for a month, she said “ The owner is always there and accommodating to help you”. So we’ve decided to get some walk along the beach suddenly we have seen this girl on the garden of the White House, then I started to asked if there’s available room we can rented, unfortunately all room with nice balcony are occupied. But she still trying to help us to go around and ask her friend if they have available room for us, but unluckily no available house or room. It came to our surprised when she said that there’s a small room available in my place but she hesitant to offer it because most of the expat they like nicer place to stay.

We take a look the available room it’s located just near the main entrance of the whole house. Yes it is a small room with toilet and a small kitchen it’s is all in with bed, TV, fan, small table and 2-sofa chair. House rental is Php 7,000 or $S 163 (Electricity is already included for one month.) Wow this is far from our budget of Php 20,000 per month; we’ve decided to get the room and look at the bright side, most of the time we want to sit outside and not to stay in the room whole day.

Things why we consider this room and place like this :
Place is peaceful and comfortable – If you look at the room it’s small and almost no window but all we need at night is place to sleep in quiet environment. At night you don’t even need air-condition because this house is near the beach it’s windy and cold during the night.

Wet Market is nearby – This is the moment we are waiting for the time we can cook our own food, because eating in the restaurant everyday is not good it will ruin our budget and diet.
Being on the road and moving place to another is not easy because sometimes there are some misunderstanding between you and you’re partner, but the good thing is you’re relationship will develop into more mature role.

hello! hows the internet connection there? do they have wifi or do you use your mobile phones for 3g connection?
Hi Ryan, Yes they have wifi connection but the bad thing in Puerto Galera most of the places are slow internet. But yes we have our own 3G connection and it’s a bit more faster than they have good enough to work but not for downloading. Globe tatoo has really good signal.

Good for you to stayed there, yes tabinay is a beautifull place not to much tourist, and the people are nice, oh i forget i am from that place but i live in Vietnam this time every year i visit my familly,just came back this month and just visit the place, its a good place and the lady is nice, hope to see you there one day:

Thank you for this original post. After reading this, we looked for the Squares Apartments, and booked in.
It is so good that we are still here after 4 weeks, and just booked another 4 weeks, with option to continue. We may even stay till Christmas. It is really nice. Beachfront Rooms are spacious, living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
